Dr. Kevin Mintz’s essay “Paying Attention to the Mouse Behind the Curtain: Dilemmas of Disability Justice in a Lawsuit Against Disney” is the winner of the 2023 Anita Silvers Prize. This is the inaugural award of the Silvers Prize, sponsored by the Society of Philosophy and Disability and named for the illustrious philosopher of disability, Anita Silvers. Kevin Mintz received his Ph.D. in Political Science at Stanford University, where he is now a post-doctoral scholar at the Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics.
